What I have done:
I have worked for Barclays Bank for 30 years , the last 18 have been spent in facility and project management. The last major role I undertook for the Bank was the development and occupation of the New Barclaycard HQ in Northampton of some 300,000 sq ft of offices, completed in Aug of 97.What I do now:
I am currently enjoying my retirement having been on secondment to the Fire Services National Museum Trust, for a 2 year period ( until July 2000) from Barclays. I assist in all aspects of the creation of the Trusts Museum to be developed at the Old Ordnance Depot (built in 1802) at Weedon in Northampton. This is a listed site and contains more than 8 no 2* listed buildings.We hope to have the Museum open during 2002 and have the website with reference data available to all users.
